With your support, I pledge to infuse our Local's leadership with a fresh perspective deeply rooted in our shared values of empathy, integrity, and inclusivity while honoring the legacy of my predecessors, Puck Stair and Dale O'Malley. Drawing from my diverse background in clinical mental health, fine art, and hands-on experience across various crafts on set, I stand ready to navigate us through this pivotal bargaining year.
As President, I prioritize transparency, accountability, and inclusivity within our union. With a commitment to listening empathetically, mediating conflicts, and advocating for every member's well-being, I will ensure that each voice is not just heard but valued.
I recognize the importance of advancing our industry's interests while ensuring fair treatment and equitable opportunities for all workers. I will tirelessly advocate for policies that protect workers' rights, promote diversity, and foster a thriving film and television industry in our region.
Moreover, I am dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, empowering our members through training initiatives, including leadership skills development.
In the spirit of continuity and stability, I assure you of my commitment to run again in October for the regular election, and I am here to stay for a full 3-year term. Together, let's build a stronger, more resilient union that champions its members' interests and secures a bright future for our industry.
